Tee-Dub-Dee!

Alexandria Safe Zone Well, well, well.  Where should I begin?  Should I talk about that brilliant season finale last night or get a few small things out of the way first?  Okay, let’s start with the small stuff. First and foremost I am still riding a major high from CoastCon last weekend!  Not only wasContinue reading “Tee-Dub-Dee!”

The Coast With The Most!

Biloxi, MS After missing the last two years, I managed to finally return to one of my favorite conventions, CoastCon, in one of the most beautiful towns on the gulf coast, Biloxi, MS.  I hitched a ride with the gang from CyPhaCon on Friday, March 20.  We arrived in the early afternoon and quickly setContinue reading “The Coast With The Most!”

Right On Target

Star….err Starling City Wednesday night has always been a tad busy for me.  I’m primarily bringing and picking up the kids at certain functions on that evening, so I’ve never really invested much interest in television on that night.  I knew that Arrow was on the CW on that evening and I also knew thatContinue reading “Right On Target”

Mid-Season Mayhem!

Atlanta, GA Last week I made a bold prediction as to which character would bite the dust for the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead.  I gave reasons as to why I believed that Carol, Beth, Rosita, or Tara would be saying their farewell to the show. After seeing last night’s episode, the inevitable happened. Continue reading “Mid-Season Mayhem!”

Bayoucon 2014

Lake Charles, LA Bayoucon 2014 is a fan-run convention in Lake Charles, LA that takes place every June.  I have attended this event (and was even the vice president of the convention’s board at one point) every year since its inception with the exception of 2012.  Originally this convention was primarily a science fiction basedContinue reading “Bayoucon 2014”

Lake Charles, LA Well, well, well…….The Walking Dead shut the door on another season last night, and I have to admit that it was one of my favorite season closers so far.  A ton of issues were resolved in the second half of this season and quite a few more issues were opened up or left hanging in theContinue reading “The Walking Dead Season Finale!!! Progress And Nerd Thoughts For The Day

Lake Charles, LA I’ve dropped a couple of more pounds since starting my second consecutive round of Insanity.  I’m now at 215 lbs.  I started this wild ride at a whopping 244 lbs.  I’m starting to experiment more with my food choices, as I’m starting to drop my caloric intake more with each pound lost. Continue reading “Progress And Nerd Thoughts For The Day”
